Today - What a wonderful world

I've been away for quite sometime now, just didn't have the time to update this Blog. Previously I said I was going change over to Ubuntu, today I finally did. But first I had to get the cd. The major problem people wanting to join the Linux League is getting the cd. For those who have a high speed internet connection well you don't have any problem as you can easily download it. But for people like me who use slow dialup it would be suicidal to try and download it as it would take forever. The solution you can easily request for a free cd here, but it may take up to six weeks or less before it arrives.

I went through the live cd I was impressed I’ve never seen a friendlier installation, it was so easy to install and it has nothing to do with being a GURU!. It even comes with a clip of an interview with Nelson Mandela concerning Ubuntu. But note there are different versions, there's Kubuntu, Edubuntu and Xubuntu so please go through the site properly before choosing. Almost forgot since its free, please support it, so that this culture of free software might continue. Thanks

I called Skima yesterday and he promised to give me the cd today, I had never met him before, I just had Faith. Then he called me this morning to come to town planning, and collect it. The rain started pouring down again(What’s going on heavy rain in September that’s odd), so he called me and I told the bike man to hurry someone was waiting. Getting there I saw someone I said could that be him? Well I called him on his mobile phone and he was seeing but I didn't see him. Anyway we got to see talked and he's very nice.

After installing Ubuntu, I tried it with an Alba mp3 player, it worked like a charm didn't even need to install and drivers it open immediately. Also I recommend Kubuntu for beginners as its still the most beautiful and easiest to use of all. The Ubuntu even supports hibernation and looks appealing.

My internet connection was down today but later came up, logged into messenger and found offline messages from Rita, how I wished I was online then, but not to worry as we are supposed to meet tomorrow online. You might just get to know who she is.
